But I hate teaching about it because of the Regents Exam. They make it to complicated with lots of vocabulary words which can confuse students. I think it's mean. The questions about the Neolithic Revolution are more about how many words you know instead of being about your knowledge of history. But anyway, I usually teach it using documents and some video clips, but today, I'd like my students to find a website AND a video clip that they think would be good to use to teach students about the Neolithic Revolution.
When you find the website and video clip, post a comment to this blog post and include the link to the video, the link to the website, and explain WHY they would both be good to use for teaching about the Neolithic Revolution. You must explain how they will help students learn the vocabulary needed for the Regents and also explain why students will easily learn from the website and video.
The last part of your comment should be about how the Neolithic Revolution relates to ONE of these 5 essential questions for learning history:
1.How can geography help or hinder the development of a specific society?
2.How/why do governments change society in social, political, economic ways?
3.How do social, political, or economic ideas impact society?
4.How does trade limit or develop a society?
5.How does technology impact societies in both positive and negative ways?
When you are done with your blog post, call Feinberg to have him look over it to make sure it's complete.
